First Ship-to-Ship LNG Bunkering at Nagoya Port

On May 11, the LNG bunkering vessel (LBV) Kaguya, owned by Central LNG Shipping Japan Corporation, supplied LNG fuel to a NYK LINE newly built car carrier “WILD ROSE LEADER” at Nagoya Port. This is the first Ship-to-Ship LNG Bunkering at Nagoya Port. Kaguya, Japan’s first LBV, is operated by Central LNG Marine Fuel Japan Corporation. The vessel will be based at Kawagoe Thermal Power Station and will continue supplying LNG fuel to ships in the Chubu region using Ship-to-Ship bunkering.
