Kaguya Conducts Ship-to-Ship LNG Bunkering to a “K” LINE New Building Car Carrier

On March 15, the LNG bunkering vessel (LBV) Kaguya, owned by Central LNG Shipping Japan Corporation, supplied LNG fuel to a “K” LINE car carrier “CENTURY HIGHWAY GREEN”.

“CENTURY HIGHWAY GREEN” is the “K” LINE’s first LNG-fueled car carrier just delivered on March 12, 2021. Kaguya, Japan’s first LBV, is operated by Central LNG Marine Fuel Japan Corporation. The vessel will be based at Kawagoe Thermal Power Station and will continue supplying LNG fuel to ships in the Chubu region using Ship-to-Ship bunkering.
